Lemon and oregano lamb chops


Want to make something a little different for a special occasion? These lemon and oregano lamb chops with a lime yoghurt sauce recipe is perfect.




  1. Mix together half of the olive oil, some salt, pepper, lemon zest, lemon juice and the chopped oregano in a small bowl. Rub the mixture on both sides of the lamb chops. Set aside for 10 minutes
  2. Heat a griddle pan on medium heat until hot and add the marinated lamb chops. Cook until lightly charred on one side, about 4/5 minutes. Turn them over and cook the other side until lightly charred and cooked. This will take about 8-10 minutes. Season with a little more salt and pepper




  1. Place the rest of the olive oil, yoghurt, sour cream, garlic, lime juice and zest, chopped coriander and mint in the jug of your stick blender and blend to make a sauce.
  2. Season with salt and pepper.


Serve with the lime yoghurt sauce and lemon and lime wedges
